How to join

Hello and welcome to our forum.

If you're not a member of the Wire Branch and would like to join then go back to the Join Us!page on the branch website. You can join via paypal there.

If you are already a member of the branch then please register as a user using the button at the top. You will be asked to choose a username and password. This can be your own name, with capitals and spaces, or just your first name or something identifiable to you. Please don't choose something too anonymous, we're all branch members here so it'll be better if we know who we all are.

You will then be sent an activation email and will need to follow the instructions. This is to make sure that real people and not bots are joining.

At this point there is one more step needed for full access. If I'm around and on the ball I'll do it automatically but to make sure the best thing to do is to go to Usergroups (button at top) and ask to join the Branch Members group. I'll then be alerted that someone is waiting to join and activate your membership as soon as I can, but remember that I don't always have computer access so it may take a day or two or even longer if I'm away working.

Just a quick update. Folks are choosing usernames - which is fine - but can you then send me a pm to let me know your real name (it can stay private) so I can check your membership of the branch to let me activate your full access? Thanks.
